Terms of Stay at Shanthi Women’s Hostel

  1. 15 day’s notice to be given in advance before vacating the room.
  2. Date of joining will be the due date.
  3. ADVANCE WILL BE RETURNED ONLY AFTER MINIMUM STAYING PERIOD OF 3 MONTHS.
  4. IF STAYING AFTER DUE DATE ONE MONTH RENT IS APPLICABLE.
  5. Electricity charges to be paid along with the rent.
  6. If you fail to pay the rent after the due date you will be forced to vacate from the hostel after clearing of dues.
  7. In case of no response from you after a week from the due date and your belonging will be cleared from the room by the management and the bed will be rebooked.
  8. If EB amount is not paid on time electricity will be disconnected.
  9. Any damage caused by you for the hostel property, you will be responsible for the compensation of the same.
  10. HOSTEL MANAGEMENT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF YOUR BELONGINGS IN OUR PREMISES.
  11. Visitors will not be allowed inside the premises.
  12. Hostel main door will be closed at 10:30 PM.
  13. Any illegal activities will not be permitted inside the hostel.
  14. Staying without food is not permitted.
  15. RENT IS NOT REFUNDABLE ONCE AFTER CHECK-IN.
  16. Keep the Rooms Neat & Clean.
  17. FOR NON-STAYING PERIOD, YOU MUST PAY THE FULL MONTH RENT & EB AMOUNT.
  18. It is mandatory for the persons unable to return hostel before 10 pm or for the whole night has to intimate to the management through mail/SMS /Phone
  19. Person going on leave has to intimate to the management through mail/SMS/Phone with the details of leaving date and date of return if any change in date of return also to be intimated separately.
  20. Food charges cannot be deducted in monthly rental amount for non-staying period/going on leave.
  21. Cooking inside rooms is strictly not permitted.
  22. FOR ALL ISSUES MANAGEMENT DECISION IS FINAL.
  23. If any details given by the Guest is not correct Management will be forced to vacate the Residents Immediately.
  24. Valuable Things kept inside your Lockers is your own responsibility.
  25. Residents Male friends not allowed inside / outside the Hostel premises.
  26. ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN THE INMATES HAS TO BE RESOLVED AMONG YOURSELF ONLY.
  27. BED REPLACEMENT Residents SCOPE.
  28. The residents are responsible for avoiding the following anywhere in the hostel and the cost of the damage is recoverable: –
    A.Drilling Nails.
    B.Sticking/hanging/displaying posters, calendars, stickers, bindis, glue tapes, gum, or anything similar.
    c.Paints on walls or furniture.
  29. Residents are expected to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of their rooms ·
  30. All wet clothes should be dried only in the allotted areas and not in the room.In case the housekeeping staff is not allowed to clean the room, the residents will be responsible for maintaining the room.

  32. On vacating the hostel, the room should be cleaned and handed over to the hostel authorities on the mentioned date. The cost of any damage identified during the handover process will be payable or/and deducted from the caution deposit by the individual or/and residents of the room.
  33. Residents are not allowed to enter the kitchen or use the services of the hostel staff without the permission of the management
  34. Every in and out time needs to be entered in the Register kept at the reception as per government norms.
  35. Food will be available only during the specified timings and food wastage should be thrown only in the food waste bin and not in rooms/rest rooms.
  36. Residents should refrain from inviting friends of opposite gender to the hostel or conversing in close proximity of the premises.
  37. Smoking, Chewing of Tobacco, Consuming, Storing or Supplying any kind of Alcoholic drinks or any other intoxicating drugs is strictly prohibited. If found will be expelled immediately.
  38. Hostel management will not be responsible for any kind of unlawful activities indulged by the residents and upon any misconduct or unlawful activities by residents, hostel management has the rights to vacate them immediately.
  39. Residents should refrain from inviting friends of opposite gender to the hostel or conversing in close proximity of the premises.
